Before the first appointment, it is helpful to make contact to introduce ourselves and see if we can work together. It will be a casual meeting where I will tell you a little about me and my approach, and after we have discussed your needs, If I feel I can help you, I will outline what we can do together. During the introduction, we will also decide if you prefer face-to-face or online therapy and arrange what time and day will suit you best.
Psychotherapy is based on trust, openness and honesty. Every client is unique; each person will need an approach tailored to their circumstances and preferences. I will have an impartial view of your story, and your privacy will always be protected.
